COASTAL SAILING SCOTLAND  –  Argyll - August 2024    

At our sailing base on the banks of the Holy Loch you will be trained to sail single hander dinghies with the views up the loch into the mountains and out to the firth of Clyde.  We also have two 26Ft J80 Keel boats for you to crew with our experienced instructors, all adding up to an unforgettable experience.

Join us for 5 days/4 nights at Benmore Outdoor Centre for an exciting opportunity to learn to sail.

The course fee includes accommodation, food, instruction, *use of all sailing equipment including wetsuits, buoyancy aids & helmets and *expedition equipment

Course Aims:  

• Develop your personal sailing skills in rigging, launching, capsize recovery, essential safety knowledge and building confidence at sailing in all directions.  All with help and support from Benmore sailing instructors. 
• Sail and spend time in Scotland’s beautiful coastal landscapes.  
• The chance to sail in both dinghy’s and as a crew member on a J80 keel boat (with the possibility of an overnight Exped)

Previous experience:  

• This course is open to anyone with good water confidence and level of fitness.  Previous sailing experience is not required.
