CAMPING PODS
Our Cairngorm Camping Pods provide an affordable basic bolthole. Cleverly combine the appeal of camping with the benefit of a few creature comforts, our pods are set in a wild woodland location offering a unique way to experience the outdoors and get close to nature.
You’ll snuggle up in a cosy self catered pod, containing twin sleeping benches (each measuring 195cm long by 55cm wide) separated by a bedside cupboard and storage space. There is no power or lighting in the pods so please bring a torch. A shared central camping block provides hot showers, WCs and heated towel rails. The camping block includes laundry and wash up facilities with a compact kitchen consisting of fridge, microwave, kettle and sockets.
In the evening, you can use one of the two fire huts to cook up a storm or eat under the stars in the picnic area. Perfect after a long day of exploring.

Pods are accessed with a key code lock, the code will be sent to you as a follow up to booking confirmation.
Bring sleeping bags, pillows and any other camping or cooking equipment to complete your outdoor adventure. Remember pods have no power or lighting.
Pods are insulated but not heated, they serve as a basic bolthole best likened to a wooden tent. Please carefully consider weather conditions when booking. In winter and low temperatures, the camping block will be shut down.
Low-level solar lights help light the pathways, but we recommend personal torches and lanterns.
The pods are situated in woodland areas, the terrain can be uneven and steep in places.
Food and other supplies, including barbeque briquets and fire hut logs, can be purchased nearby in Aviemore or Kingussie.

You will never be short of things to do during a stay at Lagganlia Outdoor Centre. Our extensive wild landscape provides space to play and roam, with easy access to cycle trails and forest walks. You can choose to compliment your stay with on-site activity options including; archery, climbing and an artificial ski slope. Explore on-site activities.
