Residential course delivery has a growth mindset philosophy. This includes our six core elements of teamwork, leadership, resilience, weather, nutrition and positive communication. Schools using the Curriculum for Excellence (CfE), will have the option to identify and integrate specific Experiences and Outcomes.

These can include practical outdoor learning, mentoring, volunteering or fundraising activities — whether they take place at school, college or elsewhere. These include DofE and eco-schools.

Experience Outdoors offer events focused on Outdoor Learning and achievement. As an organisation, we create, develop and run a wide range of courses throughout the year. These cover areas including schools and communities, awards and achievement, national governing bodies and CEC excursions.
